The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn’t employ LIDAR to map out your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is in place you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button press. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn’t lose suction as quickly as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It’s not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It’s the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It’s an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. We think it’s a nice statement however, it’s not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home’s layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still–its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that’s not a big deal if you want to own one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac’s dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away whenever it comes across one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it’s designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and cleans and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. That’s a handy feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there’s a lot of clutter that must be cleared out frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you’d expect from a premium robot vacuum mop best and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, as well as the mop’s rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for Robot Vacuum Mops use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive–it’s nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds–the entire robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific route.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we’ve tested due to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the Robot Vacuum Mops is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that has a range of features that aren’t typically found on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice however they can make the L10s more of a premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving through the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The control panel is an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open up the app’s settings menu where you can tweak the way that the Dreame L10s Pro: 2-in-1 Robotic Vacuum for Efficient Cleaning Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
